WeWork Expands Presence in L.A., Takes 70K-SF in WeHo
WeWork signed a lease to take two floors at the Pacific Design Center’s RedBuilding in Los Angeles. The rapidly-expanding coworking startup, that operates shared working environments nationwide, leased a total of 70,000 square feet.
Cohen Brothers Realty Corp.’s Charles S. Cohen says, “The company is known for choosing unique and aesthetically exciting locations nationwide, that appeal to its young, hip, and creative clients. WeWork is a perfect fit for the RedBuilding, with its creative mix of technology and entertainment tenants, and we expect that it will thrive in its new West Hollywood location.”
CBRE’s Anthony Gatti represented the tenant, while Cohen Brothers Realty’s Marc Horowitz represented the landlord.
WeWork also occupies nearly 100,000 square feet at Cohen Brothers Realty Corp.’s building at 135 East 57th Street in New York City.
