WeWork Expands Again in PDX, Adds 4th Location

New York-based WeWork plans to open its fourth Portland location next year in Northeast Portland’s Lloyd District. The new site across three floors will encompass 55,000 square feet at American Assets Trust’s Oregon Square building at 830 NE Holladay St.

The space is slated to open in the first quarter of 2020, and will be its first on the eastside. Last year, WeWork took 66,000 square feet in Portland’s Power & Light Building at 920 S.W. 6th Ave. It added 1,125 desks to WeWorks’ PDX portfolio and brought the total to 2,900.

The building is part of American Assets Trust’s Oregon Square, currently under evaluation for redevelopment as part of a second-phase, mixed-use project known as Lloyd District Phase II. The existing four-office-building superblock includes 710 & 830 NE Holladay St., and 729 & 827 NE Oregon St.

WeWork was co-founded in 2010 by UofO graduate Miguel McKelvey. The co-working giant operates 485 locations in 105 cities worldwide.

There is still time to join us tomorrow for Connect Bay Area at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Get more information, and register to attend on this link.
