WeWork Continues PHX Expansion with Four-Floor CBD Deal

New York-based WeWork established its first downtown Phoenix location at 101 North. The shared workspaces company will lease four full floors at the 31-story, Class A office tower owned and managed by ScanlanKemperBard (SKB).

The WeWork location is slated to open this fall. The company will occupy roughly 48,000 square feet of space on the building’s 8th, 28th, 29th and 31st floors, with the option to expand to additional floors. This is WeWork’s third Valley location, joining sites at Camelback Esplanade in Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor and Tempe Watermark in downtown Tempe.

101 North is Arizona’s second tallest building, totaling 359,256 square feet of Energy Star space, with a six-level covered parking garage. Located at 101 N. First Ave. in downtown Phoenix’s Copper Square, the building sits adjacent to two Phoenix Metro Light Rail stops.

JLL’s Ryan Bartos, Andrew Medley and Kyle Seeger represented the tenant. JLL’s John Bonnell, Brett Abramson and Chris Latvaaho advised the landlord.
