Westside Paper Mixed-Use Project Panning Out

Westside Paper is making progress on its adaptive reuse project in West Midtown Atlanta. The site was once the Atlanta Paper Company, originally built in 1950. By 2023, it had been redeveloped as reusable office space and retail, with approximately 220,000 square feet available for leasing. Westbridge Development Company redeveloped the site.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that Construction Resources is among the new tenants. The company plans to open a 50,000-square-foot design center at the development this summer. Last year, Proof of the Pudding signed a long-term lease for The Dogwood, a 13,000-square-foot event venue.

Nearly half of the space has retail tenants.

Now, the team, which also developed the Stockyards and Westside Provisions projects, is once again actively pursuing office tenants and has more than 100,000 square feet of leasing deals in progress.

The developers, which include real estate investment firm FCP, also helped fund the initial design of the new 0.73-mile walking and biking trail along the Beltline.
