Westmount’s Booth Assumes Chairman Role
Cliff Booth, Westmount Realty Capital’s founder, president and CEO, is assuming a new role as chairman with the firm he founded more than 30 years ago. Brant Brown, Westmount’s long-time chief financial officer and chief operating officer, will now serve as Westmount’s president. With an enhanced focus on company growth, Booth and Brown will continue to capitalize on opportunities the firm has identified in the marketplace.
The privately held Dallas-based commercial real estate company has built and developed a portfolio of properties across the country. Westmount has offices in Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas, which support its national real estate investments in the value-add multifamily, industrial and office space.
“Our enhanced growth carries with it even greater responsibilities in building and sustaining relationships with investors,” says Brown. “By freeing up some of Cliff’s time in day-to-day operations, he can focus more on our capital markets, investor relations and opportunistic trends.”
Brown joined Westmount in 2015 and has led the financial analysis and governance of more than $30 billion in institutional real estate and fixed-income investments.
