Westmount Ends Two-Year Hold on Braker Center

Westmount Realty Capital LLC ended its more than two-year hold on 13 office buildings within Austin, TX’s Braker Center. The Dallas-based Westmont sold the portfolio, totaling 546,984 square feet, to World Class Capital Group, which has offices in Austin and New York City. Eastdil Secured represented the seller in the transaction, of which the sales price was undisclosed.

The assets are on Kramer Lane and Metric Avenue, between Interstate 35 and MoPac Expressway. Westmount acquired the then light-industrial portfolio in April 2014. Following a capital investment of $1.5 million and a rebranding the buildings as The Offices at Braker Center, Westmount brought the occupancy level to more than 93%. When acquired, occupancy was 88%. Current tenants include Allerga Inc., Cenpatico, Integra Life Sciences and Renewal by Anderson.
