Westhaven Park in Corpus Christi Gets Facelift
A former lackluster park in the Molina neighborhood of Corpus Christi, TX will eventually boast fitness amenities, a new irrigation system and walking trails. After three years of planning, construction was launched on Westhaven Park’s first phase, with a focus on health and fitness, with walking trails and exercise stations. Future phases will feature improved parking, more shaded areas, and a new playground.
The revitalization comes courtesy of the West Oso Independent School District and the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, as well as city officials. The city and Nueces County will cover the $240,000 expense. The park is located at Cliff Maus and Rockford Drives.
