Westfield Topanga Unveils $70M Renovation
Westfield Topanga, a 1.7-million-square-foot retail center in Canoga Park, CA, will commence a $70-million remodel starting this fall, with an expected completion in 2019. The changes encompass a stylish modernization of the San Fernando Valley shopping center’s interior at 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd.
The upgrades will bring a sleek and modern look to the property’s design and décor, including fresh new floors and tiling; refined, dark walnut paneling and finishes; a complete makeover of all restroom facilities and family lounges; as well as the integration of state-of-the-art digital infrastructure to enhance customer service and convenience.
Lighting fixtures will be replaced with more efficient systems that support environmental sustainability and energy conservation, while upgrades to back-of-house technologies are designed to enhance security.
A majority of the work is expected to occur after business hours, which is hoped to minimize the impact on shoppers. Shops and restaurants will remain open throughout the renovation.
