Western Realco Has Big Fullerton Plans

Western Realco, a development firm based in Newport Beach, recently bought 30 acres in Fullerton and plans to build a large office and industrial complex.

The plot the company acquired was formerly the site of a Beckman Coulter complex that includes eight buildings totaling just more than 600,000 square feet. Western Realco is also planning to purchase another 14 acres to build its own 44-acre project.

When asked what he thought was fitting for the site’s development, Gary Edwards, a Western Realco principle, told Connect Media his firm plans “a high quality state-of-the-art business park. This site provides a great opportunity to review the possibility for a number of buildings that can accommodate local, regional and national corporate users, with a focus on a mix of manufacturing and industrial uses, with the potential for creative and traditional office and possible supporting retail.”

Western Realco, which also has a large Brea project in the works (pictured above) purchased the land from City Ventures, in a deal brokered by Voit representatives.
