West Texas National Bank Pushing East

West Texas National Bank, headquartered in Midland, TX, hired Thomas E. Stelmar Jr. as its Senior Vice President of Energy Lending. Stelmar will be spearheading the effort to establish a lending office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Stelmar previously worked as Senior Vice President/Relationship Manager with Bank of Texas, and Vice President/Portfolio Manager with Wells Fargo. He has also served as an energy senior analyst with Barnes & Click Inc. and Muse, Stancil & Co. During his two-decade career, Stelmar has worked in all areas of energy finance, including consulting and commercial lending in the E&P and Midstream sectors.

“Tom’s ability to understand the particulars of an energy credit transaction allows him to meaningfully examine a customer’s needs, and address the best financing avenues for all involved,” said WTNB President and CEO Keith Moore.
