West Loop Condos Rising on Union-Owned Parcel

The developers of Eveq, a boutique condominium community of 32 residences in the West Loop, have announced the start of sales ahead of a formal groundbreaking in March. Located at 14 N. Bishop St., between Washington Boulevard and Madison Street, the five-story project will rise on land owned by the Chicago Pipefitters Local Union 597.

Delivery is expected in third-quarter 2020, with @properties serving as the exclusive sales brokerage.

“The developers recognized the potential of this site and decided it was time to move forward with a quality, union-built development that will bring much-needed for-sale housing to this corner of the West Loop,” said Cyndy Salgado, EVP for @properties.

“Given the anticipated demand for these homes, which benefit from their proximity to leading employers like Google and McDonald’s, construction is scheduled to begin almost immediately, allowing buyers to move in much faster than is typical for new construction,” Salgado added.
