West Lawn Retail Center Changes Hands

Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of Courtesy Plaza, a grocery shadow-anchored, 42,346-square-foot retail property in the Southwest Side’s West Lawn neighborhood. The property traded for $7,575,000.

First VP Adrian Mendoza and SVPs Austin Weisenbeck and Sean Sharko, all of Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a developer. The buyer, an East Coast-based private investment group, was also secured and represented by Mendoza, Weisenbeck and Sharko.

Courtesy Plaza is located at 5160 S. Pulaski Rd. in Chicago at a signalized intersection, and is 100% occupied. The property procured six written offers from in-state and out-of-state buyers. Closing the deal entailed navigating through a complex escrow involving multiple deal hurdles, according to Marcus & Millichap.

Connect Industrial Midwest is coming to Rosemont, IL on March 4. For more information, or to register, click here.
