West Elm, Kohler, and Hilti Ink Industry City Retail Lease

Industry City, the mixed-use complex in Brooklyn, has signed lease agreements with West Elm, Kohler, and Hilti to occupy 37,106 square feet of retail space.

While West Elm will be relocating its outlet store to double its footprint on campus, Kohler and Hilti will be establishing their presence in the Industry City Design District for the first time. The newcomers will be joining other design retailers, including Porcelanosa, Design Within Reach Outlet, and RH Outlet.

“The Industry City Design District is where established and emerging brands, design industry professionals, craftspeople, artisans, and shoppers meet to enjoy a high-quality sourcing and shopping experience,” said Jim Somoza, managing director at Industry City.

The Industry City Design District boasts over 125,000 square feet of design retailers. Leasing opportunities range from small offices to large office spaces, tailored storefronts, turn-key retail spaces, industrial buildings, and laboratories. The campus currently houses over 550 businesses.
