Eikon will establish East Coast operations at the Alexandria Center in Manhattan

West Coast Biotech Company Establishes East Coast Base at Alexandria Center

Biotechnology company Eikon Therapeutics Inc. has signed a lease with Alexandria Real Estate Equities for its new East Coast base of operations at the REIT’s Alexandria Center for Life Science in New York City.

The 25,000-square-foot mixed-use facility will allow Eikon to establish a clinical development arm, expand upon existing research functions, attract top talent on both coasts and explore potential collaborations with entities on the East Coast.

Cushman & Wakefield’s William Hartman, Rachel Park and James Gale represented Eikon. Hartman said, “Eikon’s expansion into the Alexandria Center for Life Science in New York City, as a San Francisco-based company, is a testament to the world-class talent pool New York offers.  This is an exciting and transformative time for New York’s life science cluster and we are thrilled to have Eikon at its forefront.”

Eikon is also collaborating with Alexandria to develop its new 285,000-square-foot global headquarters in Millbrae, CA.
