Wendover building Kissimmee transit-oriented affordable housing project

Wendover Building Kissimmee Transit-Oriented Housing Project

Wendover Housing Partners is constructing the $38 million Weston 4 Hundred housing project at 500 Spencer St. in Kissimmee. The project will include 205 workforce housing units.

Rents for the community—located one block from the Kissimmee SunRail station—range between $1,460 and $2,300 per month. The project includes a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, ranging in size from 520 to 1,248 square feet.

“Transit-oriented communities are proving to be vital as we see Central Florida continuing to expand,” said Wendover’s Ricardo Alicea. “We’ve seen great success with Weston Park, our other transit-oriented community in Longwood, and have the same goals for Kissimmee in terms of providing residents with an enjoyable living experience while allowing seamless access to both jobs and recreation.”

Wendover says it’s a privately held real estate development, investment, and management company specializing in multi-family affordable, workforce, and student housing communities across the Southeastern U.S.
