Wells Fargo Gets Texas-Sized Grants, Will Open Irving Campus

Governor Greg Abbott today announced that Wells Fargo Bank will establish a new campus in the Las Colinas development in Irving, Texas. The project will create 650 new jobs and $455 million in capital investment. Abbott awarded a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $5,001,100 to Wells Fargo. That’s along with $19 million tied to improvements in a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone through the Financial Services and Economic Development Departments and $12 million to aid in the construction of the regional campus through the Office of Economic Development.

Wells Fargo’s Tanya Sanders liked the news, “Currently, most of our 3,000 employees are located in multiple offices across the Metroplex. We are thrilled to have a new state-of-the-art campus where we can bring the majority of our local workforce together for an even better employee experience that prioritizes well-being and sustainability.”
