Wellness-Inspired Hotel Opens Near Jacksonville Mayo Clinic
Concord Hospitality Enterprises has opened the Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic, a full-service hotel located just steps from the renowned medical center.
The Jacksonville Business Journal reports the 252-room, eight-story hotel will capitalize on its proximity to the famed healthcare center by emphasizing wellness. Its signature restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, will offer locally sourced, dietitian-approved cuisine.
The hotel was built in partnership between Concord, Hilton and private equity real estate company Whitman Peterson.
Located at 4745 Transformation Way, the hotel features 21,000 square feet of flexible event space, comprising 16,000 square feet of indoor space and 5,000 square feet of outdoor space, as well as a pool.
Room rates will run from approximately $259 to $329 per night on average, with higher rates for premium rooms. Mayo’s patients and their families will get a discount that will vary based on department and needs, but cost from approximately $219 to $269 per night on average.
