Welcome Group Secures 710K-SF Distribution Center in Mt. Juliet

Houston, TX-based real estate development firm Welcome Group, LLC has purchased 840 Logistics Center, a fully leased 709,652-square-foot Class A bulk distribution center located in the Nashville submarket of Mt. Juliet, TN.

Matt Wirth, Mitchell Townsend and Bo Osgood of JLL represented the seller, Dallas-based Westmount Realty Capital, LLC. Ted Kakambouras led the acquisition and closing on behalf of Welcome Group. Financing was provided by Simmons Bank.

“Among the high-growth sunbelt industrial markets, Nashville is particularly well known for limited sale transaction activity, as the current group of owners typically only want to grow their portfolios,” said Wirth. “This was a broadly marketed process, and the response was representative of the increasingly strong investor demand for core and core plus industrial assets there.”

840 Logistics Center was built in 2008 and features a cross-dock configuration with 32′–36′ clear heights, 134 dock-high doors and 135’–185’ truck courts.

The property is located at 245 Couchville Industrial Boulevard with immediate access to Interstate 840 and proximity to I-24, I-40 and Highway 109.
