Weiss Properties Plans Revamp of Former CF Headquarters

Weiss Properties is advancing plans on its multimillion-dollar redevelopment of 1 Salem Lake Dr. in Long Grove, IL, recently renamed The Reserve at Salem Lake. The 37-acre property, which Weiss acquired earlier this year, was developed as a corporate headquarters campus by CF Industries.
The Reserve at Salem Lake, which has been vacant for more than 10 years, will be marketed as a multi-tenant headquarters campus that could be occupied by tenants ranging from 10,000 to 25,000 square feet. The firm believes it could also be attractive to a single user.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to give this long-vacant single user property new life as a multi-tenant facility,” said Jake Weiss, founder, Weiss Properties. “Our focus since acquisition has been to create and begin the execution of our comprehensive redevelopment plan that will give new life to this long overlooked asset.”
