Weis Markets to Open Middletown Store in Delaware

Weis Markets is set to celebrate the opening of its new 64,000-square-foot store anchoring Bayberry Town Center in Middletown, Delaware.

The new store, part of the Bayberry Town Center development and located at 935 McKim Street, is the fourth Weis Markets store to open in Delaware and the first new construction for the company in the state.

Elected officials from New Castle County will be in attendance, alongside local community members and Weis Markets executives, including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Weis and Chief Operating Officer Bob Gleeson.

Bayberry Town Center offers a combination of grocery, upscale shopping, restaurants, services, banking and healthcare. The property features 248,655 square feet of retail, including the 64,000 Weis grocery store, 31,000 square feet of office, and 145 on-site townhomes.
