Wayne Mansfield Hired as Longview EDC’s CEO

Wayne Mansfield has been hired to take on the role of president and chief executive officer of the Longview (Texas) Economic Development Corp. Mansfield’s role will involve developing and implementing economic strategies, as well as identifying development opportunities for Longview.

Mansfield recently served as executive director of the Vicksburg Warren County Port Commission in Vicksburg, MS. Other jobs include director of planning and community development for Vicksburg, and director of planning and development for the city of Southaven, MS. He was also city planner for Tupelo, MS.
