Watson Land Focuses on Chino

Watson Land Co., a major industrial developer in Southern California, is focusing more and more of its efforts in the Inland Empire town of Chino.

Long known for its farming industry, Chino is now becoming popular for its distribution centers because of its proximity to the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles.

Watson officials claim building distribution centers in Chino will improve the quality of life there for many reasons, including improving the infrastructure.

Watson is currently building a 5.1-million-square-foot industrial park in Chino. The company is also spending about $45 million on infrastructure improvements there.
