Waterton CEO Schwartz to be Honored by Chicago Realtors

He pitched his business plan over a dinner of Pop Tarts in 1995. Twenty-three years and $4 billion in real estate assets later, Waterton CEO David Schwartz will be inducted into the Chicago Association of Realtors Hall of Fame on Wednesday.

“David’s compassionate leadership has helped spur Waterton to great success,” said Rebecca Thomson, president of the Chicago Association of Realtors. “He is known throughout the Chicago and national multifamily housing industry as a man with great integrity and business sense. These values highly align with our association, making his induction into the Hall of Fame a perfect match.”

Schwartz is an active advocate in the housing industry, playing key roles in the National Multifamily Housing Council and Urban Land. He’s also a member of the advisory council for the Pritzker School of Medicine and the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago, where he earned his MBA.
