Washington D.C. Hotel Portfolio Trades for $34M

Berkadia has brokered the $33.5 million sale of Georgetown Suites, a 223-room hotel portfolio in Washington D.C.

The portfolio consists of the Georgetown Suites Harbor Building at 1000 29th Street NW and the Georgetown Suites Courtyard Building at 1111 30th Street NW. The undisclosed buyer plans to convert the hotels to a multifamily apartment community.

Dan Hawkins, Kyle Stevenson and John Kluh of Berkadia’s Hotels & Hospitality group represented the sellers in the transaction, Maryland-based Georgetown Mews Associates, LP and 29th & K Associates, LP. The deal closed December 22.
