Walton Global Sells First Phase of 822-Acre Mixed-Use Planned Development in PGC
Real estate investment and land asset management company Walton Global has sold 80 acres in Prince George’s County, MD to home builder D.R. Horton for a master plan community to be named Spring Hills.
Forestar, a residential lot development company which will be developing the lots for D.R. Horton, has received approval for a subdivision of 196 lots.
This transaction is the first phase of residential development for the Dobson Ridge Master Plan, which totals 822 acres. The overall master plan is slated for a variety of residential unit types, as well as a mix of employment and retail uses. Residential units are planned to present a wide range of offerings including single-family detached dwellings, single-family attached dwellings, and multifamily product. Non-residential uses are anticipated to include various retail, commercial office, and civic uses.
The upcoming development is located just outside of Washington, DC and will offer exposure to Route 5 and Highway 301 for access to the Capital Beltway and the city of Baltimore.
