Walton Global Opens Tampa Location, Names David Peter to Leadership Role

Scottsdale, AZ-based Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company, opened an office in Tampa, FL. David Peter, Walton’s executive president of special projects, is overseeing the new location and operations.

The 2,500-square-foot office in Highland Oaks Business Park employs staffers with expertise across asset management, portfolio management, land acquisition, project management and administration.

“There is tremendous population and employment growth in Florida and the surrounding region, requiring land that is ready for development, “said Peter. “We’re excited to continue to support new home communities, commercial and industrial spaces, along with our homebuilder and developer network. We are also eager to invest in Tampa’s future as an employer and neighbor.”

Privately owned Walton Global concentrates on the research, acquisition, administration, planning, and development of land. The company manages and administers $3.6 billion in assets and has more than 97,000 acres of land under ownership, management and administration in the US and Canada.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
