Walnut Creek Mixed Use Closer to Reality
The planning commission in Walnut Creek is willing to make a height exception for a mixed-use condo and retail project in the town as long as developer Mark Hall scoots back the easement along one of its streets.
Called Centre Place South, its high-end condos would average about 2,000 square feet each. The building would total four stories and 66 feet. Most buildings in Downtown Walnut Creek are no larger than 50 feet high. There will also be an adjoining two-story building that would include retail shops and restaurants.
The residential building would have 22 condos and would provide access to Alma Park.
