Walmart’s Jet.com Opens Temporary NYC Store
It’s like a pop-up shop for groceries. From May 10 to June 18, Jet.com will have a food-themed concept shop in Manhattan, which showcases artisanal accessories, cookbooks and kitchen appliances. Jet.com will also be selling potential customers on its grocery delivery service.
Jet.com has set up shop at STORY, a 2,000-square-foot retail space that changes its retail offering roughly every month. Past retail “sponsors” at Story have included American Express, GE and Mr. Robot. It’s located at 144 10th Ave., at 19th St.
Jet.com is the online retailer that Walmart bought in 2016 for $3 billion.
