Walmart Pharmacy fill location

Walmart Debuts 100K-SF “Pharmacy Central Fill” Facility in W. Phoenix

Walmart recently opened a 100,000-square-foot Pharmacy Central Fill facility in Litchfield Park, west of Phoenix. The company is expanding a regional prescription-processing network designed to give store pharmacists more time for patient care.

Located at 6600 N. Sarival Avenue, Suite 130, the facility is designed to fill up to 100,000 prescriptions daily and support more than 700 Walmart stores across 12 western states.

The operation combines pharmacist oversight with automated equipment that handles prescription fulfillment tasks, including locating vials, counting pills, labeling, capping and sorting. The model shifts prescription processing work to regional facilities, giving retail pharmacists more time for counseling, immunizations and other clinical services.

At the end of this year 90% of Walmart’s retail stores in the U.S. will be supported by the central fill facilities.

The Arizona operation joins Walmart’s existing five-site Central Fill network.
