Walmart-Anchored Retail Center Sold in Downtown Oceanside

Mission Square, a 161,373-square-foot shopping center in downtown Oceanside, CA has traded hands for an undisclosed price. The seller was Ona Mission Partners, LP, and the buyer was Monro Mission Square, LLC.

The property is located at 1002-1064 Mission Ave. and 306-326 N. Horne St. At the time of sale, Mission Square was 98% occupied and anchored by Walmart Neighborhood Market, 99 Cents Only, Auto Zone, Chase Bank and Harbor Freight Tools.

Colliers International’s Bill Barnett and Doug Hogan, along with Pacific Development Capital  represented the seller and buyer. The new ownership plans to continue regular operation of Mission Square and retain Colliers International to handle leasing efforts.

Colliers’ Barnett says, “Mission Square represents an exciting opportunity for the new ownership. Strategically located at the entrance to downtown Oceanside, the retail center will continue to be a strong investment for the new ownership.”
