Walker & Dunlop Investment Partners Inc. (WDIP), Walker & Dunlop Inc.’s wholly owned alternative investment manager focused on middle-market commercial real estate investments, has hired Brad Barsily as managing director and head of capital raising. Barsily has raised more than $5 billion of equity on behalf of his clients throughout his career and brings more than 25 years of institutional capital raising experience and senior-level LP relationships to the platform.

“Brad is a seasoned professional who will accelerate the growth of our assets under management, as we continue our progress towards our goal of building an $8 to 10 billion investment management business,” says Sam Isaacson, WDIP president.

Barsily was most recently an executive managing director for CBRE Capital Advisors Inc., and led the group’s institutional equity business and its capital raising activities for the past seven years.
