Walker & Dunlop Secures $27M for Assisted Living Facilities in OR, WA

Walker & Dunlop has secured two HUD loans totaling $27.2M for assisted living facilities in Oregon & Washington.

Walker & Dunlop’s Capital Markets team, led by Kevin Giusti, Daniel Barone, Tony Cassie and Sam Thompson, arranged the refinance utilizing HUD Section 232/223(f) loans.

The properties include Battle Creek, a residential community that supports individuals with memory loss, located at 1805 Waln Dr. SE in Salem, Oregon. Walker & Dunlop arranged a fixed-rate loan for $16.67 million for the client, Onelife Investments.

The transaction also includes Liberty Shores Senior Living, an independent living, assisted living, and memory care services property located at 19360 Viking Avenue NW in Poulsbo, Washington. Walker & Dunlop arranged a $10.61 million loan, with proceeds used to refinance existing debt, reimburse the client for prior capital expenditures, and provide millions for property improvements. The client was Northwest Care Senior Living.
