Walker & Dunlop Brokers Sale of 135-Unit Apartment Community in Birmingham

Walker & Dunlop has brokered the sale of The Moretti at Vulcan Park, a 135-unit apartment community in the Homewood neighborhood of Birmingham. The sales price was not disclosed.

The Moretti at Vulcan Park is within walking distance to downtown Homewood, an upscale boutique shopping and dining destination in Birmingham. The property was built in 2014 and is one of only two multifamily communities to deliver in Homewood within the last 20 years. The community features a premium amenity package, high-end in-unit finishes and ample parking.

Kris Mikkelsen and Telly Fathaly of Walker & Dunlop brokered the sale on behalf of the seller, Raia Capital Management. The buyer was ApexOne Investment Partners. Additionally, a team from Walker & Dunlop secured a ten-year, Freddie Mac loan with five years of interest-only payments on behalf of ApexOne.
