Walker & Dunlop Arranges Sale of 418-Unit MF Community in Marietta

Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales has arranged the sale of The Columns at Bentley Manor, a 418-unit, garden-style apartment community in Marietta. The sales price was not disclosed.

The property is nearby The Battery Atlanta, a $1.5 billion mixed-use development which includes Truist Park, the home of Major league baseball’s Atlanta Braves. Originally built in 1985 and renovated in 2008, the gated community consists of 37 buildings in total. The property is situated on 24 acres, and amenities include a leasing office with business center and coffee lounge, two pools, a clubhouse, fitness center, pet park and playgrounds.

Kyle Palmer of Walker & Dunlop’s Atlanta office represented the seller and original developer of the property, ECI Groups. The buyer was The Carroll Organization. Additionally, Craig West of Walker & Dunlop arranged permanent financing through Freddie Mac’s floating rate program on behalf of the buyer.
