Walker & Dunlop Arranges $16M for Assisted Living Properties

Walker & Dunlop has arranged HUD acquisition loans for two Caring Alternatives assisted living properties located in the greater Milwaukee area. Kevin Giusti and Daniel Barone led the Walker & Dunlop FHA finance team that secured the $16 million HUD acquisition loan on behalf of the sponsor, a well-versed developer, and the lender, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The Caring Alternatives of Muskego is a 34-bed, 30-unit assisted living facility located at W182 S8320 Pioneer Drive, Muskego, Wisconsin. The deal closed for $7.2 million. The Caring Alternatives of Oak Creek is a 52-bed, 45-unit assisted living property located at 8841 and 8861 South 13th Street, Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The deal closed for $8.9 million.

“It was a pleasure working with our clients and the sellers to execute on the acquisition with optimal financing through HUD’s LEAN acquisition program,” said Kevin Giusti, Senior Managing Director of FHA Finance.
