Walker & Dunlop Arranges $120M Financing for DC Multifamily Assets

Walker & Dunlop has arranged a total of $119.7 million in financing for two Washington, D.C. multifamily assets, including the Crest at Skyland Town Center and The Albemarle.

The Walker & Dunlop Capital Markets Real Estate Finance team, led by Connor Locke, Brendan Coleman, and Skye Stansbury, arranged the loans with capital from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on behalf of WC Smith.

The team secured the $67.2 million refinancing for Crest at Skyland Town Center, a 263-unit mixed-use, multifamily asset with ground-floor retail. Located at 2219 Town Center Drive SE, Crest at Skyland Town Center is part of Skyland Town Center, the largest mixed-use development in Southeast Washington.

Walker & Dunlop also facilitated the $52.5 million acquisition financing for The Albemarle, a 235-unit rent-controlled high-rise multifamily asset originally built in 1958 and renovated in 2021. The Albemarle is located at 4501 Connecticut Ave NW in the city’s Forest Hills neighborhood.

Join us on Tuesday afternoon, June 2, 2026, at the Connect Midwest Multifamily Trends Conference as JDL Founder, Jim Leitchinger, is honored with the Changing Skyline Award, followed by an exclusive Keynote Interview.
