Waldorf Condo Redevelopment Launches International Website

Since launching sales in March, the Towers of the Waldorf Astoria has received more than 5,000 inquiries globally for its 375 residential condominium units. The development team has now released an international website translated into 10 languages: French, Spanish, Russian, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Japanese, Arabic, and Hindi.

The redevelopment of the iconic Waldorf Astoria in Midtown is being undertaken by Dajia Insurance Group and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The new residences will range from studios starting at $1.7 million to four-bedroom units starting at $18.5 million.

Residents will have access to over 50,000 square feet of private residential amenities, ranging from health and wellness to entertaining and business spaces.

Initial occupancy is projected for 2022. The Waldorf has been closed for renovations since 2017. Post-renovation, the property will contain 375 hotel rooms, compared to its original complement of 1,413.
