W. P. Carey Names Co-Heads of North American Investments

W. P. Carey (WPC) announced the promotions of Zachary Pasanen and Tyler Swann to co-heads of North American investments.  In their new roles, Pasanen and Swann are responsible for driving WPC’s North American investment activity, including the sourcing, underwriting and structuring of its North American transactions. They will remain focused on sale-leaseback and build-to-suit opportunities with creditworthy companies on long-term net leases and will continue to report to Gino Sabatini, head of investments.

Zachary Pasanen

Jason Fox, CEO at WPC, said, “Zack and Tyler are highly respected professionals within the net lease space, each with a deep understanding of our strategy and a proven ability to execute across market cycles. Their unique skill sets, shared leadership approach and longstanding relationships within the industry have been critical in scaling our success in North America. We are confident that, together, they will continue to drive investment activity to support W. P. Carey’s long-term growth.”

Tyler Swann

Sabatini added, “Since joining the firm in 2011 and 2013, respectively, both Zack and Tyler have been instrumental to the strength and consistency of our North American investment platform. They have earned the trust of our organization and our partners, and I’m eager to see the impact they will have on our team and investment capabilities in the years to come.”
