Vulcan Real Estate Opens Seattle Residential Building

Vulcan Real Estate’s newly delivered apartment community, Cascara, is now welcoming new residents.

Nestled at the top of the Yesler neighborhood, the 345-unit property comprises two nine-story buildings. As Vulcan Real Estateʼs fourth and largest multifamily development in Yesler, Cascara was built in partnership with the Seattle Housing Authority.

Vulcan Real Estate also partnered with Andersen Construction and Ankrom Moisan Architects on the project. Amenities include two rooftop decks with adjoining lounges, grilling stations, and a community veggie garden.

Cascara joins Vulcan Real Estateʼs Batik, Cypress, and Wayfarer apartments in Seattleʼs Yesler neighborhood. Designed with the cityʼs workforce in mind, the building sits adjacent to the First Hill Streetcar stop. Yeslerʼs revitalization continues with vibrant new retail like Yellow Bee Market & Café and Malubianbian, opening later this year.
