Voit, Xceligent Break Down a Strong O.C. Industrial Market

Voit Real Estate Services and Xceligent have released their respective reports on the Orange County industrial commercial real estate sector, and both firms had favorable things to say about the market’s third quarter.

Voit’s analysis indicates the vacancy rate in Orange County was the best ever, at just over 2.6 percent. Voit also reported that there is just over one million square feet of industrial construction, with most of it in Anaheim, Brea and Fountain Valley.

Xceligent records the vacancy rate at 2.2 percent, and agrees with Voit that there was just over one million square feet of leasing activity during the most recent quarter. Xceligent also pointed out that the vacancy rate around the John Wayne Airport was a slim 1.5 percent.
