Vivid Seats Relocates Headquarters to Marshall Field Building
Chicago-based online ticket broker Vivid Seats plans to move its headquarters to the historic Marshall Field building in converted office space above the Macy’s flagship State Street store, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Vivid signed an 11-year lease last month for 48,000 square feet at 24 E. Washington St. beginning Jan. 1, 2023, with the space to be used for its “new principal executive offices,” according to an SEC filing.
Crain’s Chicago Business reported that the new space will be less than half the 110,000 square feet Vivid Seats contemplated when it first considered a relocation from 111 N. Canal St. prior to the pandemic. The company has terminated the 111 N. Canal lease three years early, effective next November.
CBRE’s Brad Serot represented Vivid Seats. The Telos Group’s Jack O’Brien, Daniel Heckman and Caroline Colnon represented Brookfield, which redeveloped the Marshall Field building’s upper floors as office space.
