Vista’s TownePlace Suites Acquired for $15M
Carlsbad, CA-based TMACK Melrose LLC sold the 94-room TownePlace Suites Hotel in Vista for $15 million to an affiliate of Anaheim, CA-based Marwaha Group Inc. The company is the largest owner of Subway sandwich shops in Southern California, and is seeking to expand its hospitality footprint in the San Diego region.
It is Marwaha’s second hotel acquisition in the San Diego region in the past six months. The Vista hotel, located at 2201 S. Melrose Dr., was built on 1.7 acres in 2010.
MG Hospitality, the new owner’s hospitality division, will be managing the property. Titan Hospitality’s Steve Usher represented both parties in the transaction.
