Vista Buys 122-unit apartment in Austin

Vista Investment Group Buys Austin 122-Unit Apartment Community

It’s not Vista’s first rodeo in Austin. They recently purchased Park Central, a 114,000 square foot office building in North Austin. This is their first multifamily investment.

Built in 2004, Vista will start an ambitious renovation plan on the 96% occupied property, targeting the interiors of 105 units at the SoCo Apartments. Exterior renovations will include a refresh of the pool and BBQ areas, new landscaping, fitness center upgrades and the addition of a dog park.

Vista’s Jonathan Barach says Austin hasn’t peaked yet, “The ascension of Austin is still in its adolescence. We will continue to seek compelling opportunities within the market, with plans to invest $50-$100 million in multifamily and office assets over the next 12 months.”
