Visit the Cornell Tech Campus on Roosevelt Island (Video)

Big things are happening at the new Cornell Tech Campus at Roosevelt Island.

“This urban campus is where engineering technology and education collide and help continue to make New York City home to the most talented workforce,” said Charlie Stephens, global brokerage for Cushman & Wakefield on the latest video from Connect Media.

Stephens gives a tour of the campus, which started with former Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s 2011 initiative to make the city a global hub for technology development. The campus is meant to encourage new start up companies. Two Sigma, a quantitative financial services firm that incorporates artificial intelligence and machine learning, recently committed to occupy space at the Bridge, the center of the startup culture at the campus.

He visits the Roosevelt Island Tram and the cafe at the award-winning Bloomberg Center.
