Virginia Beach, Armada Hoffler Team on $32M Development

Armada Hoffler Properties, in a public-private partnership with the City of Virginia Beach, has announced a $32 million, mixed-use project as the next phase in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. The development will include 33,000 square feet of street-level retail space, 5,000 square feet of restaurant space, and approximately 120 high-end apartment units.

Additionally, Zeiders American Dream Theater will invest approximately $8 million to help build a 17,000-square-foot performing arts center. The city of Virginia Beach plans to invest approximately $3 million for public infrastructure, which will include an open-air public plaza.
Town Center is a 25-acre, 17-block mixed-use development that Armada Hoffler began in 2000, in partnership with the city. Construction on the next phase will begin in the second half of this year.
