Palm Pavilion

Vintage Beach Resort Trades in Clearwater

Palm Pavilion Restaurant & Inn in Clearwater sold for $23 million. Beachside Hospitality Group purchased the beachside Palm Pavilion Restaurant, while McKibbon Equities, purchased the Inn.

Built in 1926, the Palm Pavilion is recognized as the oldest operating beach pavilion in Florida. The property includes an 11,869-square-foot restaurant and a 12,129-square-foot, 37-unit inn.

The Hamilton family has owned and operated the business for more than 60 years, transforming it into a full-scale restaurant in the 1990s and opening the Palm Pavilion Inn in 1988.

Beachside Hospitality Group will maintain operations of the restaurant and will rename it Crabby’s Beachside Pavilion to reflect the shift in ownership. McKibbon’s management company, McKibbon Hospitality, will operate the inn.

John Gerlach, Jake Gerlach and Cyndi Cushman of Colliers represented the Hamilton family.  Beachside Hospitality Group was represented by John Fahey of SRS Real Estate Partners.
