Video Game Developer Nexon Extends El Segundo Office Tenancy

Colliers arranged a six-and-a-half-year lease extension at 621 Hawaii St. in El Segundo for landlord BLT Enterprises. The tenant, Nexon America, a subsidiary of Nexon, the largest video game developer and publisher in South Korea, extended its tenancy of a 49,307-square-foot creative office space through 2033. Senior EVP Steve Solomon and first VP Kristen Bowman of Colliers represented BLT and Greg Lovett of Cushman & Wakefield represented Nexon.

“This extension, valued at approximately $15 million, is a testament to the strength of the asset and the landlord’s commitment to maintaining high-quality space,” said Solomon. “Despite broader market headwinds, creative office properties like 621 Hawaii continue to attract and retain top-tier tenants.”

While historically rooted in aerospace and defense, El Segundo has undergone significant redevelopment, positioning it as a hub for new media, creative, and technology companies seeking modern space at competitive rents relative to Silicon Beach.
