Victoria Housing – Non-Exploding Market

The Swearing Report, detailing the Victoria, TX metro from September 2016, showed an exploding market, at least on a year-over-year basis. But according to Ron Brown with Coldwell Banker, simply examining month-to-month comparisons doesn’t tell the whole story of what’s happening in this southeast Texas region.

Brown noted that, on a year-to-date focus, numbers for units sold are flat, with average and median prices down, compared to the same period a year ago. “We have a market,” he said. “But it’s focused in the mid- to lower price points.”
