VICI Snags Goldman’s Kellan Florio to Fill CIO role and B of A’s Moira McClosky to Run Capital Markets
Top gaming, hospitality and entertainment experiential REIT VICI Properties Inc. has snagged Goldman real estate executive Kellan Florio to fill the role of SVP, CIO and Moira McCloskey as VP, Capital Markets from her previous role as a senior Bank of America equities managing director.
Florio will be responsible for leading VICI’s expansion across experiential real estate investments – a relatively new REIT sector that focuses on a property’s ability to deliver consumer experience, for example Vici’s expansive gaming and hospitality facility portfolio. He reports to John Payne, president and COO.
“Kellan’s extensive experience and long-standing relationships in experiential real estate sectors makes him a strong addition to our team,” said Payne. “While at Goldman Sachs, he was an advisor to a wide array of clients in our industry, including VICI, and he used his strategic and financial expertise to help source, lead and close numerous client transactions.”
McCloskey will be responsible for leading VICI’s capital markets initiatives and continuing to expand VICI’s relationships and access to capital across domestic and international debt and equity markets, reporting to David Kieske, EVP, CFO.
