Superstition Gateway gets new management

Vestar Snags Superstition Gateway Property Management Deal

Superstition Gateway in Mesa, Arizona, has a new property team. Vestar has been awarded the property management role, while retail brokerage specialist Western Retail Advisors will oversee leasing. The Phoenix-based companies will work collaboratively to maximize occupancy and operations at the Mesa center, which is currently 97% leased and attracts an average of 700,000 monthly visitors.

Superstition Gateway is located at the corner of US Highway 60 and Signal Butte Road. Spanning nearly 500,000 square feet, the property features a tenant mix that includes anchor tenants Walmart, AMC Theatres, LA Fitness, Kohl’s, Marshalls, PetSmart, Michaels, Five Below, ULTA, and more than 50 additional retailers.

Alvarez & Marsal Capital Real Estate acquired the asset in April 2025. The Western Retail Advisors team- Bryan Ledbetter, Neil Board, and Katie Weeks- will serve as the project’s exclusive leasing brokers.

Superstition Gateway joins Vestar’s management portfolio, which includes distinguished properties such as Tempe Marketplace, Desert Ridge Marketplace, Novus Place, and Scottsdale Promenade.
